Direction
PieceZ is an AI copilot for music production. The aim is a tool that can read an Ableton Live project, plan a change, and apply that change locally, with the producer deciding what is allowed to move.
That is the product direction. It is not a public release, and it is not a one-click song generator. Project understanding, planning, local execution, and checking the result are the point of the work. This page does not treat them as features you can use today.
Why that shape
A session already lives in the DAW. Help is only useful if it can see that session: what is in the project, what a change would touch, and whether the result matches the plan. A model that only emits audio, with no view of the project, is a different product.
What is public
There is no public repository, demo, or install. The work stays private until the behaviour is stable enough to describe in the present tense. Internals stay off this page.
